Global Crossing Airlines (GlobalX) seeks qualified individuals to join their team as First Officers (FO) operating the Airbus A320. This full-time employee position offers bases in Alexandria, Louisiana, or Harlingen, Texas, and requires a commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer service in the operation of the aircraft.

About the Role

The First Officer is responsible for the safe and timely operation of the Airbus A320, working collaboratively within a crew to uphold a strong safety-first culture. This role involves managing all aspects of flight safety, including airworthiness, weather considerations, regulations, and air traffic control, while utilizing all available safety tools and aids effectively.

Requirements

• Valid FAA Airmen Certificate.
• Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit.
• Minimum of 1,500 hours of total flight time.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to maintain a valid passport and unrestricted travel to and from the United States.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• An Airbus A320 type rating is preferred but not a mandatory requirement for application.
