easyJet / Skyborne | A320 Cadet

London, United States

Skyborne Airline Academy is seeking aspiring pilots for the easyJet FlightCrew Futures cadet pilot pathway, a structured ab-initio training programme leading to a potential career with easyJet as an Airbus A320 First Officer. Based in the UK and the United States, this pathway offers a comprehensive route from zero flight experience to an airline cockpit, with the possibility of a conditional offer of employment from easyJet prior to commencing training.

About the Role

The easyJet FlightCrew Futures Programme, delivered by Skyborne, is a UK CAA Integrated ATPL course designed for individuals with little to no prior flying experience. Upon successful completion of the easyJet recruitment process, candidates may receive a conditional offer of employment before embarking on their intensive flight training. The programme culminates in an Airbus A320 Type Rating, preparing cadets for an airline career.

Programme Overview

This integrated training programme provides all necessary licences and qualifications to progress towards an airline career. Training encompasses:

  • ATPL theoretical knowledge training in the UK.
  • Single-engine flight training and Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) training in Vero Beach, Florida, USA.
  • Multi-engine Instrument Rating training in the UK.
  • Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT).
  • Airline Pilot Standards Multi-Crew Cooperation Course (APS MCC).
  • easyJet Airbus A320 Type Rating.

The entire Skyborne Integrated ATPL training is approximately 18 months, followed by further airline-specific training and the Airbus A320 Type Rating.
