Pilot in Command – Citation XLS/XLS+

Location: Scottsdale, AZ | Type: Full-Time

Jet Linx is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for midsize jet aircraft to support Part 91 and 135 flight operations. The successful candidate must reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out time of the assigned home base.

Position Summary

The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. The PIC is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  • Total Time: 3,500 hours
  • Total PIC: 2,000 hours
  • Total Time in Type: 250 hours
  • Total PIC Time in Type: 250 hours
  • Total Multi-Engine: 1,500 hours
  • Total Multi-Engine PIC: 500 hours
  • Total Turbine: 500 hours
  • Total Instrument: 300 hours

Essential Functions

  • Manage duty, flight, and rest times in compliance with company and CFR requirements.
  • Maintain consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty, trip notifications, position calls, and reporting.
  • Manage electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
  • Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current.
  • Maintain a valid 1st Class medical certificate.
  • Exercise strong, proactive decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrate Jet Linx core values in all professional interactions.

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Current ATP certification (or ability to obtain).
  • FCC Restricted Radio License.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and current passport.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. and unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.
  • Preferred: Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months.
  • Must pass FAA Pilot Record Database review.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing.
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to frequently move up to 50 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits

Jet Linx provides a competitive compensation package. The starting base annual salary ranges from $145,000 to $200,000, determined by geographic location, aircraft size, education, training, and experience. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with a 6% company match, paid time off, and company-paid life and short-term disability coverage.
