Position Summary

Jet Aviation is seeking a professional and safety-focused Captain to operate the Challenger 350. The successful candidate will command private aviation missions with a commitment to precision, leadership, and discretion. As a brand ambassador, the Captain will ensure the safe and efficient operation of aircraft while providing an exceptional experience for discerning clientele.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take command of assigned flights, ensuring safety and compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems to manage flight plans and adapt to changing operational conditions.
  • Perform duties as the In-flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under the applicable security program.
  • Conduct required passenger safety briefings or delegate to the Second in Command.
  • Manage trip documentation, aircraft manuals, and reporting of aircraft discrepancies.
  • Actively uphold safety protocols and foster open communication regarding operational hazards.

Required Qualifications

  • Certifications: Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical.
  • Total Experience: 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time.
  • Specific Flight Hours: 1,500 hours Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours Multi-Engine, 500 hours Turbo-Jet, 500 hours Turbine, 100 hours Night, and 75 hours Simulated Instrument.
  • Education: High school diploma.
  • Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Availability: Ability to work a variable schedule and travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree.
  • Appropriate aircraft type rating and currency.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, kneel, or crouch.
  • Frequent lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting.
  • Must maintain sharp vision across various ranges and depths.
  • Work environment includes exposure to hangar settings, fuel fumes, vibrations, high noise levels, and changing seasonal temperatures.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $230,000 to $240,000. Final compensation is determined based on experience, location, and other relevant factors.
