Position Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and professional Full-Time Falcon 7X Captain to join an established operation based at KBJC Airport in Broomfield, Colorado. The ideal candidate is a standout colleague dedicated to seeking excellence in every aspect of their performance. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

The Falcon 7X Captain is responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the Falcon 7X aircraft and the well-being of all passengers, aircraft, and crew. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the safe operation of the aircraft in accordance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Solairus Aviation policies and procedures.
  • Conducting thorough flight planning, including reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status, performing proper pre-flight inspections, and checking weather, facilities, and alternate airports along the route.
  • Accurately completing all required trip paperwork.

Qualifications

  • Total Time: 3000 hours
  • Pilot in Command (PIC): 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land PIC: 500 hours
  • Time in Turbo Jet aircraft: 500 hours
  • Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

  • Type rated on the Falcon 7X or a comparable aircraft type.
  • Must possess a current First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Ability to work on an on-call basis is required.
  • Must be able to complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
  • Primary residence within a two-hour drive from KBJC Airport or willingness to relocate to the area.

Compensation

Solairus Aviation utilizes market conditions from multiple industry sources to determine competitive compensation. Solairus crewmembers' pay typically ranges from $50,000 to $500,000 annually, based on factors including geographic area, experience level, aircraft type, specific job duties, training, and the assigned account.
