Challenger 650 Captain - NY Metro Area

Solairus Aviation seeks a dedicated and experienced Challenger 650 Captain to join its team, operating from the KISP airport in Ronkonkoma, NY. The Captain will be responsible for the safe and expert operation of the Challenger 650 aircraft, ensuring the comfort and safety of passengers while adhering to Solairus Aviation's high standards of safety, service, and integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the safe operation of the Challenger 650 aircraft.
• Conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to all applicable regulations and company policies.
• Reviewing aircraft maintenance status and conducting thorough pre-flight inspections per the Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Completing comprehensive checks of weather conditions and facilities along the flight route, including alternate airports.
• Maintaining the safety of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
• Accurately completing all trip paperwork in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications:

• Total flight time: 3000 hours.
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours.
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours.
• MEL PIC time: 500 hours.
• Turbo Jet time: 500 hours.
• Instrument time: 250 hours.
• Type rating on Challenger 650 or comparable aircraft is required.
• Must possess a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• Must be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Must reside within a 2-hour drive of KISP or be willing to relocate.

Solairus Aviation offers a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $500,000, commensurate with experience, geographic location, aircraft type, job duties, training, and the assigned account.
