Position Summary:

Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Full-Time Challenger 650 Captain to join its operation based at KOPF in Opa Locka, Florida. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exemplary collegiality and strive for excellence in all facets of their performance. Key Responsibilities:

The Challenger 650 Captain is primarily responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the Challenger 650 aircraft. This includes, but is not limited to, the following essential duties:

• Ensuring the safe operation of the Challenger 650 aircraft.
• Conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to established procedures and regulations.
  • Reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status prior to flight.
  • Performing a thorough pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Conducting a comprehensive check of weather conditions, facilities along the route, intended airports, and suitable alternate airports.
  • Operating flights in strict compliance with the policies and procedures of Solairus Aviation and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
  • Ensuring the safety and security of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
  • Accurately completing all required trip paperwork according to current procedures.

Required Qualifications:

Candidates must meet the following minimum flight experience requirements:

• Total Flight Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
• MEL PIC Time: 500 hours
• Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications:

• Must hold a type rating for the Challenger 650 or a comparable aircraft.
• Possession of a valid First Class Medical Certificate is required.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis is essential.
• Must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Must maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive from KOPF or be willing to relocate.

Salary Information:

Solairus collects salary range information based on market conditions from multiple industry sources. Compensation for Solairus crewmembers ranges from $50,000 to $500,000 annually, influenced by geographic area, experience level, specific equipment type/aircraft flown, assigned job duties, required training, and the nature of the assigned account.
