Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Challenger 650 Captain to join their team based at KOPF airport in Opa Locka, Florida. The ideal candidate is expected to be a standout professional who consistently strives for excellence in all aspects of their performance. Essential Responsibilities/Duties

  • Responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the Challenger 650 aircraft.
  • Key duties include conducting thorough flight planning and execution, reviewing aircraft maintenance status, performing pre-flight inspections according to the approved Aircraft Flight Manual, checking weather and facilities along the intended route and at destinations/alternates, ensuring all flights comply with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, safeguarding passengers, the aircraft, and crew, and accurately completing all required trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess the following minimum flight hour requirements:

  • Total Time: 3000 hours
  • Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC): 500 hours
  • Time in Turbo Jet: 500 hours
  • Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications/Certifications

  • Current Type Rating on the Challenger 650 or a comparable aircraft
  • A valid First Class Medical Certificate
  • The ability to work on an on-call basis
  • Willingness to complete annual ICAO International procedures training
  • Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KOPF or the willingness to relocate to the area

Compensation

Compensation for Solairus crewmembers ranges from $50,000 to $500,000 annually. The final salary is determined based on market conditions, geographic area, experience level, specific equipment type/aircraft flown, job duties, training completed, and the assigned account.
