Position Overview

Solairus Aviation is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Challenger 650 Captain to join its esteemed operations based at the KPBI airport in West Palm Beach, Florida. Key Responsibilities

The Challenger 650 Captain will bear primary responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, encompassing, but not limited to, the following duties:

• Ensuring the safe and prudent conduct of all flights in strict adherence to Solairus Aviation policies, established procedures, and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
• Performing comprehensive pre-flight inspections in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Diligently reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status to confirm its airworthiness prior to each flight.
• Conducting exhaustive checks of weather conditions and airport facility status along the planned route and at all intended airports, including designated alternate airports.
• Prioritizing and ensuring the utmost safety and comfort of all passengers, the aircraft, and the entire crew.
• Accurately completing all required trip paperwork and associated documentation in accordance with current company procedures.

Required Qualifications

Flight Experience

Prospective candidates for the Challenger 650 Captain position must meet the following minimum flight experience requirements:

• Total Time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC): 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot in Command (MEL PIC): 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Certifications and Requirements

Additionally, candidates must possess the following specific qualifications and certifications:

• A current and valid Type Rating on the Challenger 650 aircraft or a comparable large cabin business jet.
• Possession of a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• The ability to operate effectively on an on-call basis, demonstrating flexibility to meet dynamic operational demands.
• A commitment to completing annual ICAO International Procedures training.
• Primary residence within a two-hour driving radius of KPBI (West Palm Beach, FL), or a willingness to relocate to the immediate area.
