Pilot in Command (PIC) - Hawker 800/850/900

Privaira is seeking qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) candidates for Midsize jet aircraft operations under Part 91 and 135 flight regulations. The selected candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Candidates are expected to reside within a 2-hour call-out time of their home base or be willing to relocate.

Position Summary

The Pilot in Command (PIC) reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and ensures the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3,000 Hours Total Flying Time
  • 1,500 Hours Pilot-In-Command (PIC) Total Time
  • 1,500 Hours Multi-Engine (MEL) Total Time
  • 250 Hours Instrument Total Time
  • 200 Hours Turbine Total Time

Other Requirements

  • Impeccable Safety Record
  • Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship
  • Current passport
  • ATP rated or Commercial rated with ATP written complete
  • FAA 1st Class Medical
  • FCC Restricted Radio License
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing
  • Unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries
  • Ability to release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
  • Excellent client service skills

Essential Functions

  • Conduct safe and efficient flight operations for domestic and international trip assignments under 14 CFR Part 91 and Part 135 regulations.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Ensure a high degree of crew coordination, performing duties professionally, efficiently, and cordially.
  • Greet passengers, assist with seating, and manage luggage storage.
  • Conduct passenger briefings and respond to passenger requests and needs.
  • Adhere to all company procedures manuals.
  • Maintain a current first class medical certificate and notify the company of any medical conditions that may impair flight duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to FAR Part 135 and Part 91.
  • Thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, and other international flight operations regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills and advanced multi-tasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Computer skills for word processing, email, and web-based/mobile applications.
  • Passionate attention to detail and ability to work in a team atmosphere.
  • Well-groomed appearance at all times.
