Overview
Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated and professional Challenger 604 Captain to join our flight operations team based at KOPF airport. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence, safety, and integrity, contributing to a culture of service that meets the sophisticated needs of our private aviation clients.
Essential Responsibilities
The Challenger 604 Captain is responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the aircraft. Key duties include:

Ensuring the safety of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft at all times.

Conducting comprehensive pre-flight inspections in accordance with the Aircraft Flight Manual.

Reviewing aircraft maintenance status prior to departure.

Evaluating weather conditions, facilities, and routes, including alternate airport planning.

Executing all flight operations in strict adherence to Solairus Aviation policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.

Maintaining accurate and timely completion of all required trip paperwork.
Candidate Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following flight hour requirements:

Total Time: 3,000 hours

Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 1,500 hours

Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
-
MEL PIC: 500 hours
-
Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
-
Instrument Time: 250 hours
Specific Requirements and Certifications

Possess a type rating for the Challenger 604 or a comparable aircraft.

Hold a valid First Class Medical certificate.

Ability to work on an on-call basis.

Commitment to completing annual ICAO International procedures training.

Requirement to maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KOPF or a willingness to relocate.
Compensation
Solairus provides a competitive compensation structure ranging from $50,000 to $500,000, determined by geographic area, experience level, aircraft type, job duties, and assigned account.
