Job Title: Pilot in Command (PIC) - Challenger 604

Pentastar Aviation is seeking a professional Pilot in Command (PIC) to join an existing two-pilot crew conducting 14 CFR Part 91 operations. Based at Oakland County International Airport (PTK) in Waterford, MI, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safety of passengers and crew, as well as the efficient and comfortable operation of the Challenger 604 aircraft.

Position Responsibilities

The PIC ensures that all flight and ground operations adhere strictly to FAA regulations. Key duties include determining flight routes, calculating aircraft performance, conducting preflight planning, managing scheduling requirements, and completing initial and recurrent training. Additional responsibilities include administrative tasks such as expense processing and other aircraft-related duties as required. Crew members can expect to fly approximately 300 hours per year.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4,000 hours of total flight time.
• Commercial Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument ratings required.
• Prior turbojet and business aviation experience required.
• ATP Certificate preferred; for non-ATP certificate holders, completion of the ATP/CTP course is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an FAA First-Class medical certification.
• Ability to manage and adapt to changing work schedules.
• Must reside within a two-hour commute of Waterford, MI.
