Pilot in Command – Citation CJ4 Gen 2
Full-Time – Atlanta, GA
Jet Linx is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command for their Light jet fleet, specifically operating the Citation CJ4 Gen 2. This is a full-time position based in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will either reside within a two-hour call-out time of the home base or be willing to relocate accordingly.
Position Summary
The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of company aircraft operations in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company procedures. This role is integral to supporting Part 91 and 135 flight operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2000 hours
- Total Time in Type: 250 hours (Citation CJ4)
- PIC Time in Type: 250 hours (Citation CJ4)
- Total Multi-Engine Time: 1500 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
Essential Functions
The Pilot in Command performs critical duties including, but not limited to:
- Managing duty, flight, and rest periods in compliance with company standards and CFRs.
- Maintaining consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position updates, and flight reporting.
- Managing Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and ensuring applications are current.
- Ensuring all required navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are up-to-date.
- Holding and maintaining a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Demonstrating strong, proactive decision-making abilities.
- Embodying Jet Linx's core values in all professional interactions.
Other Requirements
Candidates should also meet the following criteria:
- Possession of Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. driver's license.
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Possess a current passport with unrestricted international travel capability, particularly to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Hold or be able to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Hold an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with random drug and alcohol testing requirements.
- Ability to authorize and successfully pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review conducted by a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by flight schedules.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
- The position primarily involves work in and around aircraft and aviation terminals.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently.
