Pilot in Command – Citation Sovereign (Full-Time)

Location: St. Louis, MO

Jet Linx is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for SuperMid jet aircraft operations, supporting both Part 91 and Part 135 flight requirements. Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate within a two-hour call-out radius of the assigned aircraft.

Position Summary

The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. The PIC is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, ensuring full compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.

Minimum Flight Requirements

  • Total Time: 3,500 hours
  • Total PIC: 2,000 hours
  • Total Time in Type: 250 hours
  • Total PIC Time in Type: 250 hours
  • Total Multi-Engine: 1,500 hours
  • Total Multi-Engine PIC: 500 hours
  • Total Turbine: 500 hours
  • Total Instrument: 300 hours

Essential Functions

  • Manage duty, flight, and rest times in accordance with company policies and CFRs.
  • Maintain consistent communication for standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and reporting.
  • Manage electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and software applications.
  • Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and manuals remain current.
  • Maintain a valid 1st Class medical certificate.
  • Exercise proactive decision-making and represent Jet Linx core values.

Professional Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and current passport.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • ATP certificate (or ability to obtain).
  • FCC Restricted Radio License.
  • Unrestricted ability to travel to EU, Canada, and Caribbean nations.
  • Successful completion of an FAA Pilot Record Database review.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and random testing for prohibited substances.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to frequently move up to 50 pounds.
  • Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Jet Linx offers a competitive salary range of $160,000 – $245,000 annually, commensurate with geographic location, aircraft experience, and qualifications. The comprehensive benefits package includes:
