Captain – Flight Operations
Location:
Savannah, GA
Position Purpose
The Captain serves as a member of the flight crew within Gulfstream Flight Operations, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft in support of corporate, customer, and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Operate Gulfstream aircraft domestically and internationally in accordance with the Flight Operations Manual (FOM) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Support Airborne Customer Support (ACS), corporate transportation, customer accommodation, demonstration flights, and maintenance/production testing.

Coordinate with Corporate Maintenance, Production/Completion, and Technical Operations to assess and resolve aircraft issues.

Assist Gulfstream Dispatch with the planning and coordination of flight activities.

Maintain broad knowledge of flight operations and serve as a positive brand ambassador for Gulfstream and General Dynamics.

Manage assigned ancillary responsibilities and adhere to all corporate and departmental policies.
Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of 5 years of professional pilot experience in the aviation industry.

Minimum of 1,500 hours of total flight time, or 1,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command time in turbine-powered aircraft.

Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) required upon hire.

First Class FAA Medical Certificate required upon hire.

Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
Preferred Qualifications

Gulfstream type rating.

Corporate aviation experience.

International flight experience.
