Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation invites highly experienced and dedicated aviation professionals to apply for the position of Captain within its Flight Operations team, based in Savannah, Georgia. This pivotal full-time role involves operating Gulfstream aircraft globally, providing essential support for airborne customer service (ACS), corporate transportation, customer demonstrations, maintenance, and production testing, with up to 50% travel required.
About the Role
As a Flight Operations Captain with Gulfstream, the incumbent will act as crew within a dynamic global flight environment. Key responsibilities include:

Operating Gulfstream aircraft, both domestically and internationally (when qualified), in strict accordance with Gulfstream Flight Operations Manual (FOM) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Providing comprehensive support for a range of functions including Airborne Customer Support (ACS), corporate transportation, customer accommodation, demonstration flights, Gulfstream maintenance, and production test flights.

Maintaining a broad knowledge and understanding of flight operations principles and practices.

Facilitating effective communication with Gulfstream personnel to ensure seamless support for both the company and its valued customers.

Effectively managing and executing any assigned ancillary responsibilities.

Adhering strictly to Gulfstream corporate policies and departmental Flight Operations Manual (FOM) policies and procedures.

Coordinating the assessment and repair of aircraft issues with Corporate Maintenance, Production/Completion, and Technical Operations departments as needed.

Proactively assisting Gulfstream Dispatch with the planning and coordination of flight activities.

Ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of all assigned flight operations.

Serving as a positive brand ambassador for Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation and General Dynamics.

Performing other duties as assigned by management.
Successful candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of professional pilot flight experience in the aviation industry.

Possession of 1500 hours total flight time, OR 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of turbine-powered aircraft.

A valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) is required upon hire.

A valid 1st Class FAA Medical Certificate is required upon hire.
Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the role.

A Gulfstream type rating is highly preferred.

Previous corporate aviation experience is preferred.

Demonstrated international flight experience is preferred.
