About the Role
Talon Air is seeking a highly qualified Captain to join its team for an international Gulfstream GV (GV) position. Headquartered in Farmingdale, NY, Talon Air operates a diverse fleet of over 40 aircraft, including large cabin jets, and has over 25 years of experience in Part 135 charter and Part 91 owner operations. This full-time role involves worldwide flight operations, offering potential for fleet mobility and leadership opportunities within the company. The position offers a consistent 12 days on, 8 days off schedule with a total compensation package exceeding $230,000, including comprehensive benefits.
Requirements

Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
-
3500+ total flight hours
-
1000+ multi-engine flight hours
-
750+ Pilot in Command (PIC) flight hours (large cabin experience preferred)

International operational experience preferred

Part 135 experience preferred

Current FAA First Class Medical certificate

Valid Passport

GV type rating preferred; highly qualified Captains with large cabin international experience will be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure safe and efficient domestic and international flight operations under 14 CFR Part 91 and Part 135 regulations.

Maintain a high level of customer service, professionalism, and crew coordination.

Provide an exceptional experience for aircraft owners and passengers.

Greet passengers, assist with seating and luggage, and conduct passenger briefings.

Adhere to all company procedures and manuals.

Maintain a current First Class Medical certificate and report any medical conditions that may impair flight duties.
Qualifications

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 135 and Part 91.

Thorough understanding of FAA, ICAO, and international flight operations regulations.
