Dassault Falcon | Captain

A qualified Captain is sought for engineering and production test flights at the DFJ Little Rock completion center. This role involves serving as pilot-in-command or second-in-command, coordinating extensively with flight test engineers and safety inspectors to ensure aircraft readiness and execute flight test procedures. The position operates within a dynamic test flight environment, requiring meticulous planning and execution.

About the Role

• Serves as Captain (pilot-in-command or second-in-command) for engineering and production test flights.
• Coordinates with flight test engineers, safety inspectors, and business unit personnel to assess aircraft status, track discrepancies, and plan for flight operations.
• Develops and approves specific flight test procedures and profiles in conjunction with the flight test engineer to validate corrective actions, certify new modifications, and fulfill flight test requests.
• Leads and coordinates the flight crew for production, customer acceptance, ferry, and delivery flights.
• Assists in certification documentation in accordance with FAR Parts 21, 25, 91, and EASA/DGAC regulations.
• Maintains essential flight test records and navigation charts.
• Ensures aircraft safety through coordination with relevant business units.
• May perform additional duties including office administration, safety, quality, training, IT, or navigation chart management.

Requirements

• FAA Multi-engine ATP pilot’s license.
• 2000 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) flight time in fixed-wing aircraft.
• 1000 hours of PIC flight time in multi-engine turbine aircraft; OR 500 hours flight time in Falcon aircraft; OR 400 hours flight time as Second-in-Command (SIC) within Dassault Falcon Jet Flight Operations.
• Possession of a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Demonstrated skills and judgment required for advancement to PIC in Falcon Jets within two years.
• Possession of a current government-issued passport from the country of citizenship.
• At least one of the following PIC type ratings: DA-2EASY, DA7X, DA6X; OR relevant experience in production, maintenance, functional, or experimental flight test.

Qualifications

• Test Pilot School Graduate.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, or other engineering degrees/experience.
• Airplane, multi-engine, and instrument flight instructor ratings.
