Job Summary
The Captain serves as pilot-in-command or second-in-command for engineering and production test flights at the Little Rock completion center. This role requires close coordination with Flight Test Engineers (FTE), Safety Inspectors (SI), and Business Unit personnel to manage aircraft status, address discrepancies, and validate corrective actions. The Captain is responsible for developing and executing flight test procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and successful aircraft completion.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Act as pilot-in-command and second-in-command for production and completion test flights.

Lead and coordinate flight crew activities for production, customer acceptance, ferry, and delivery flights.

Assist in the preparation of certification documentation per FAR Parts 21, 25, 91, and EASA/DGAC regulations.

Maintain accurate flight test records and navigation charts.

Collaborate with business units to ensure optimal aircraft safety.

Coordinate flight test plans with DFJC Flight Test Engineering and perform additional administrative, safety, quality, or training duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

FAA Multi-engine ATP pilot’s license.

2,000 hours PIC flight time in fixed-wing aircraft.

1,000 hours PIC flight time in multi-engine turbine aircraft, OR 500 hours flight time in Falcon aircraft, OR 400 hours flight time as SIC within Dassault Falcon Jet Flight Operations.

Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Demonstrated skills and judgment required to advance to PIC in Falcon Jets within two years.

Current government-issued passport from country of citizenship.

PIC type rating in one of the following: 2000 EASy (DA-2EASY), 7X (DA7X), 6X (DA6X), OR experience in production, maintenance, functional, or experimental flight test.
Additional Desired Qualifications

Graduate of a Test Pilot School.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related engineering fields.

Airplane, multi-engine, instrument flight instructor rating.
Working Conditions
This position involves approximately 200–300 flight hours annually in Experimental and Standard Category aircraft, which may involve increased risk. The role requires travel for operations and training, with the remaining time dedicated to office-based duties. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with requirements for periodic evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $175,000 – $200,000. Final compensation is determined based on relevant experience, Falcon-specific expertise, education, certifications, and location. This position is not eligible for overtime but may qualify for a sign-on bonus or relocation assistance.
