Position Overview

Dassault Falcon Jet is seeking a dedicated and experienced Captain to join its Flight Operations team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and quality of domestic executive demonstration and customer support flights. Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) on assigned domestic executive demonstration and customer support flights, including Jump Seat Support.
  • Ensure all tasks necessary for safe and efficient flight operations are executed personally or through effective delegation.
  • Maintain responsibility for the safety, security, and comfort of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
  • Ensure the high quality of all demonstration flights.
  • Verify passenger identification and ensure full compliance with all Dassault Falcon Jet Security Protocols.
  • Attend professional meetings and conferences as directed.
  • Perform additional collateral duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot or Director of Flight Operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
  • Current First Class FAA Medical Certificate.
  • Type Ratings on one or more current production Falcon aircraft.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate aviation.
  • Minimum of 3,000 hours of fixed-wing pilot experience.
  • Minimum of 2,000 hours of PIC experience.
  • 1,000 hours as sole manipulator of controls in jet aircraft comparable to Falcon complexity and performance.
  • 400 hours in current production Falcon aircraft as DFJ SIC.
  • 50 hours in the specific Falcon type as DFJ SIC.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Recommendation by the Chief Pilot, Operations, and approval by the Director, Flight Operations, based on evaluations and observation.

Additional Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Flight Instructor Certificate (CFI, CFII, & MEI).
  • Type Ratings in out-of-production Falcon aircraft.
  • Military flight training experience.

Physical Demands and Working Environment

  • Ability to conduct domestic and international flight assignments, including extended periods away from the home base.
  • Requirement to attend air shows, conventions, and seminars.
  • Flexibility to accommodate the operational needs of the Flight Department, including varied workdays and hours.
  • Requirement to balance administrative and flight duties.
  • Ability to perform manual labor, including the lifting of baggage.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual compensation for this position typically ranges between $200,000 and $270,000, depending on relevant experience, Falcon-specific expertise, education, certifications, and location. This role is not eligible for overtime. Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus or relocation assistance.
