Wilks Brothers, LLC is seeking a Global Captain to serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) for company-operated Bombardier Global 6000 and Global XRS aircraft. This on-site role, based in Cisco, TX, is responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of all assigned flights, ensuring regulatory compliance, safety leadership, and exceptional customer service. The Global Captain will collaborate with flight crew, maintenance, and company leadership to deliver a premium private aviation experience. Candidates must reside within a one-hour commute of Cisco, TX.
About the Role
The Global Captain's primary responsibility is to ensure the safe operation of assigned aircraft. Key duties include comprehensive preflight planning, verifying aircraft airworthiness, and operating flights in accordance with FAA Part 91 regulations and international standards. The role demands effective coordination with various support teams, maintaining situational awareness, promoting a strong Safety Management System (SMS) culture, and accurately completing all required flight documentation. The Captain will also participate in recurrent training, mentor First Officers, and ensure adherence to company policies and aviation regulations, while maintaining personal readiness for safety-sensitive operations.
Requirements
* FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
* Bombardier Global Express Type Rating
* Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
* Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally without restriction
* Minimum 5,000 hours total flight time
* Minimum 2,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) flight time
* Experience conducting international and oceanic flight operations
* Experience operating large-cabin aircraft under FAA Part 91 regulations (preferred)
* Strong leadership, Crew Resource Management (CRM), and communication skills
* Thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, and international aviation regulations
* Demonstrated commitment to safety, professionalism, confidentiality, and service excellence
* Ability to exercise sound judgment and make critical decisions in dynamic operating environments
* Ability to work irregular schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight trips
* Ability to sit for extended periods while operating aircraft controls and systems
* Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical manuals, regulations, charts, and operational procedures
* Capability to respond effectively in emergency situations and exercise sound judgment under pressure
