Job Opportunity: Pilot In Command (BE350) - Leidos
Leidos is seeking a professional and safety-focused Pilot In Command (PIC) for the BE350 aircraft to support critical defense sector operations. This position involves both CONUS and OCONUS flight missions, requiring a high degree of aviation expertise and the ability to operate effectively in diverse and austere environments.
Position Responsibilities

Perform all operational duties for the King Air 350, including comprehensive flight planning, pre-flight and post-flight activities, and mission execution.

Operate in accordance with directives from the Site Operations Manager (SOM) and the Leidos Program Chief Pilot.

Ensure strict compliance with all applicable aviation regulations and corporate policies.

Maintain the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.
Required Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of related experience; additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.

Flight Experience:
-
1,500 hours total PIC time.
-
300 hours PIC in Super King Air 350 or similar aircraft.

Certifications & Ratings:
-
FAA Commercial Airplane Airman Certificate.
-
Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
-
Multiengine Land and Instrument Airplane ratings.
-
Technical Experience:
Proficiency with Proline 21 and Garmin G1000 avionics suites.

General Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Citizen.
-
Must hold an active DoD Secret clearance or higher.

Minimum age of 21.

Must possess a valid passport and state driver’s license.

Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Ability to meet all contractual/program training and DoD medical requirements for OCONUS travel, including completing CONUS Replacement Courses (CRC) within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications

Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
-
2,500 hours PIC time in King Air 300/350 or similar multi-engine, turboprop aircraft.
-
200 hours of actual instrument time.
-
500 hours of turbine time.
-
Rating held for the last two consecutive years.

Prior experience as a U.S. Military, Customs, DEA, or U.S. Contracting ISR pilot.

Experience as a U.S. Military Standardization Instructor Pilot, Instructor Pilot, or Maintenance Pilot.

Previous OCONUS rotation experience.
