Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Challenger 300 Captain for a three-pilot operation based at KPWK airport. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional committed to excellence in all aspects of performance. This role involves joining a team focused on safely and expertly meeting client travel needs while upholding Solairus Aviation's core values of safety, service, and integrity.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensures the safe operation of the CL30 aircraft.
  • Conducts flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to:
    • Review of the aircraft's maintenance status.
    • Performance of pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
    • Thorough assessment of weather and facilities along the planned route and at destination/alternate airports.
    • Compliance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
    • Safeguarding of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
    • Accurate completion of all trip documentation according to current procedures.

Qualifications

  • Total flight time: 3,000 hours
  • Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1,500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1,500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land PIC time: 500 hours
  • Time in Turbo Jet aircraft: 500 hours
  • Instrument flight time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

  • Type rating on CL30 or comparable aircraft.
  • Possession of a first-class medical certificate.
  • Availability to work on an on-call basis.
  • Annual completion of ICAO International procedures training.
  • Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KPWK or willingness to relocate.

Compensation

Crew member compensation ranges from $50,000 to $500,000, based on factors including geographic area, experience, aircraft type, job duties, training, and assigned accounts.
