Pilot in Command - Challenger CL300

Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command for a Challenger CL300 aircraft. This position is based at Midway International Airport (MDW) in Chicago, Illinois. The role supports a three-pilot account, assisted by a dedicated maintenance technician, conducting both Part 91 and Part 135 operations. The annual flight schedule averages 200 hours, consisting primarily of domestic travel with occasional international trips to Mexico and the Caribbean.

Residency Requirements

This is a non-commutable position. The successful candidate must reside within a one-hour driving distance of MDW airport.

Minimum Experience Requirements

• Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land: 1,500 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC): 2,000 hours
• PIC Multi-Engine Land: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 300 hours
• Jet Time: 500 hours
• Years of Experience: 8–10 years

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Possession of an FAA Type Rating for the Challenger CL300 is required.
• Prior experience in corporate or business aviation is required.
• Must demonstrate the ability to perform all essential functions of the position.
