Corporate Flight Attendant
Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated and highly professional Full-Time Flight Attendant to join its dynamic operation based at KLAS (McCarran International Airport), Las Vegas, Nevada. The successful candidate will possess a strong passion for culinary arts, with proven culinary experience being a mandatory requirement. Advanced culinary training is strongly preferred, highlighting a commitment to delivering exceptional in-flight dining experiences. This position demands meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to anticipating and meeting the needs of discerning passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver superior service to clients, prioritizing the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout flight.
- Guide and assist passengers effectively during emergency situations.
- Administer essential first aid, including CPR and AED, as needed for passengers in distress.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations by securing the cabin before takeoff and landing.
- Provide reassurance and support to passengers during turbulence or other unsettling flight conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive preflight briefings for passengers.
- Verify and stock all necessary supplies, including food, beverages, reading materials, emergency equipment, and passenger amenities, ensuring sufficiency for each trip.
- Procure specific items or provisions requested by passengers for their flight.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization by inspecting, cleaning, and stocking the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each leg of a journey.
- Confirm the aircraft is consistently prepared, cleaned, and fully stocked for all flights.
- Perform regular cabin checks to ensure ongoing passenger comfort and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Complete all required preflight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation accurately.
- Operate onboard audio and video systems for passenger entertainment and information.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Demonstrated knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Current First Aid Training Certification (including CPR and AED).
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience serving as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
- Completion of flight attendant-specific training from recognized providers such as FlightSafety or FACTs is preferred, with annual recurrent training being mandatory.
- Candidates without formal flight attendant training may be considered based on exceptional qualifications but must successfully complete initial flight attendant training before receiving flight assignments.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or equivalent training within the past 12 months.
- Must be proficient and comfortable utilizing modern technology.
- Requires exceptional flexibility, adaptability, and patience.
- Mandatory culinary skills and specific culinary training.
- Ability to effectively manage a dynamic and constantly evolving flight schedule, including late-night flights.
- Availability to fly on short notice (requiring a 2-3 hour response time when on standby).
- Unrestricted global travel capability, considering health and visa statuses.
- Ability to deploy for extended periods, up to 16 consecutive days.
- Proficiency in operating Cabin Management Systems features.
- Competence in operating all galley equipment.
- Ability to operate all cabin features, including berthing seats and converting divans into beds.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Possesses a high level of attention to detail.
- A college degree is preferred.
- Fluency in one or more foreign languages is preferred.
- Experience caring for small children is preferred.
Specific Physical Demands and Certifications:
- Seeing: Vision must be correctable to 20/20 or better with corrective lenses. Uncorrected vision should not be worse than 20/20. Ability to read reports, charts, complete paperwork, and use electronic devices (computer, smartphone, iPad).
- Hearing/Speaking: Ability to speak clearly and possess adequate hearing to communicate effectively over the phone and in person with passengers, colleagues, and pilots, including during flight.
- Standing/Walking: Physical capability and strength to walk and stand without assistance. Ability to stand for prolonged periods, up to 14 hours with limited sitting opportunities. Capacity to work long hours in varied environmental climates.
- Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling/Bending: Ability to kneel, maneuver in tight spaces within the aircraft, including accessing luggage compartments to load supplies.
- Fingering/Grasping/Feeling/Strength: Ability to exert force to push open/pull closed the main cabin door (requiring strength equivalent to lifting up to 130 pounds). Capacity to write, type, use electronic devices, prepare, cook, and serve food and beverages. Ability to repeatedly lift supplies weighing approximately 25 to 30 pounds from floor level to waist height.
