Full-Time Corporate Flight Attendant

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada (KLAS)

Solairus Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Corporate Flight Attendant to join a dynamic operation based at KLAS in Las Vegas, Nevada. A strong culinary background and a genuine passion for food are essential requirements, with advanced culinary training highly preferred. The Corporate Flight Attendant provides exceptional personalized services, prioritizing the safety, comfort, and well-being of aircraft passengers throughout each flight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an exceptional level of service to clients, upholding the highest standards of safety and comfort for all passengers during flight operations.
  • Direct and assist passengers effectively during emergency situations.
  • Administer basic first aid, including CPR and AED, to passengers requiring assistance.
  • Ensure the securement of the aircraft cabin in strict compliance with federal aviation regulations prior to take-off and landing.
  • Provide reassurance and support to passengers experiencing turbulence or other unsettling flight conditions.
  • Conduct thorough preflight safety briefings for passengers.
  • Verify that all necessary food, beverages, blankets, reading materials, emergency equipment, and other supplies are onboard and sufficient for the specific trip requirements and passenger count.
  • Shop for and procure items specifically requested by passengers to enhance their in-flight experience.
  • Inspect, meticulously clean, and restock the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck following each flight segment.
  • Maintain the aircraft in a constant state of readiness for flight, ensuring cleanliness and appropriate stocking levels.
  • Perform periodic cabin checks to ensure continuous passenger comfort and maintain cabin cleanliness standards.
  • Complete all required preflight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation and paperwork accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate aircraft audio and video entertainment systems.

Qualifications:

  • Possesses knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations pertinent to cabin operations.
  • Holds current certification in First Aid, including CPR and AED.
  • Requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
  • Completion of flight attendant-specific initial training from recognized providers such as FlightSafety, FACTs, or equivalent is preferred; annual recurrent training is mandatory.
  • Candidates without formal flight attendant initial training may be considered based on extensive other qualifications but must successfully complete approved initial flight attendant training before assignment to flight duties.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have completed initial training (FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar) within the past twelve (12) months.
  • Must be technologically proficient and comfortable operating cabin management systems and devices.
  • Demonstrates exceptional flexibility, adaptability, and patience in a dynamic environment.
  • Possesses strong culinary skills, including specific culinary training.
  • Able to effectively manage a constantly changing schedule, including late-night flights.
  • Available to fly on short notice, often with a 2-3 hour response time when on standby.
  • Maintains unrestricted ability to travel worldwide (consider health and visa status).
  • Able to deploy for assignments lasting up to sixteen (16) consecutive days.
  • Proficiency in operating all features of aircraft Cabin Management Systems.
  • Skilled in the operation of all galley equipment.
  • Competent in the operation of all cabin features, including berthing seats and configuring divans into beds.
  • Exhibits excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Possesses a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Fluency in one or more foreign languages is preferred.
  • Experience caring for small children during flight is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Successful candidates must meet the following physical requirements to perform the essential functions of this role:

  • Seeing: Vision must be correctable to 20/20 or better with glasses or contact lenses. Uncorrected vision should be no worse than 20/20. Ability to read reports, charts, manage post-flight paperwork, and effectively use a computer, smartphone, and/or iPad device is required.
  • Hearing/Speaking: Must possess clear speaking ability. Adequate hearing is necessary to communicate effectively via phone and in person with clients, co-workers, and pilots, including during flight operations.
  • Standing/Walking: Must be physically capable and strong enough to walk and stand without assistance. Ability to stand for up to 14 hours with limited opportunity to sit is required. Must be able to work extended hours in varying climates.
  • Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling/Bending: Must be able to kneel in luggage compartments to load trip supplies and luggage. Ability to maneuver effectively in tight spaces within the aircraft cabin is essential.
  • Fingering/Grasping/Feeling/Strength: Must be able to exert force to push open/pull closed the main cabin door, which can weigh up to 130 pounds. Ability to write, type, use computer and phone devices, and prepare/cook and serve food and beverages is required. Must be able to repeatedly lift supplies weighing approximately 25 to 30 pounds from floor level to waist height.

Compensation:

Solairus Aviation utilizes market data from various industry sources to determine salary ranges. Compensation for Solairus crewmembers is competitive, ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 annually. Actual compensation is influenced by factors including geographic location, experience level, specific aircraft type/equipment operated, job duties, training certifications, and the assigned client account.
