Position Summary

Solairus Aviation is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Gulfstream G650ER Captain to join its esteemed flight operation based at San Francisco International Airport (KSFO). The ideal candidate will be an exceptional colleague, consistently demonstrating a commitment to excellence in every aspect of performance. This is not a remote position and requires a presence at the KSFO airport base.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

The Gulfstream G650ER Captain is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G650ER aircraft. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner in accordance with all applicable regulations and company policies:

• Ensuring the safe operation of the Gulfstream G650ER aircraft.
• Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft prior to each flight.
• Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Performing a comprehensive check of weather conditions and facilities along the planned route, including all intended and alternate airports.
• Ensuring all flights are conducted in full compliance with Solairus Aviation's policies and procedures, as well as all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
• Maintaining the utmost safety and comfort for all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew throughout the flight.
• Accurately completing all required trip paperwork in accordance with current operational procedures.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following minimum flight experience requirements:

• Total Time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC): 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

In addition to the general qualifications, the successful candidate will possess:

• A current Gulfstream G650ER type rating or a type rating on a comparable large cabin aircraft.
• A valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• The ability to work on an on-call basis to meet operational demands.
• The capability to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• A primary residence within a two-hour drive from KSFO, or a willingness to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Compensation and Benefits

Solairus Aviation offers competitive compensation based on market conditions, with salary ranges for crewmembers varying from $50,000 to $500,000 annually. Compensation is determined by factors such as geographic area, experience level, specific aircraft type/equipment, job duties, required training, and the assigned account.
