Gulfstream G650 Captain - Full-Time Position

Solairus Aviation is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Gulfstream G650 Captain to join its esteemed operations based at Oakland International Airport (KOAK). This pivotal role demands an aviation professional committed to operational excellence, upholding the highest standards of safety, service, and integrity. The successful candidate will integrate into a dynamic and hardworking team, ensuring the safe and expert fulfillment of client travel requirements.

Essential Responsibilities

The Gulfstream G650 Captain holds primary responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Executing all flights with meticulous adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Thoroughly reviewing aircraft maintenance status prior to flight.
• Conducting comprehensive pre-flight inspections in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Performing detailed assessments of weather conditions, route facilities, and available airports, including alternates.
• Ensuring full compliance with Solairus Aviation's operational policies and procedures, alongside all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
• Prioritizing and maintaining the utmost safety of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft itself.
• Accurately completing all required trip documentation and paperwork in line with established procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must possess extensive aviation experience, including:

• Minimum 3,000 hours Total Flight Time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time.
• Minimum 500 hours Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC) time.
• Minimum 500 hours Turbo Jet time.
• Minimum 250 hours Instrument time.

Specific Qualifications & Certifications

• Current type rating on the Gulfstream G650 or a comparable large cabin business jet aircraft.
• Possession of a valid First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.
• Availability for on-call duties and flexible scheduling as required by operational demands.
• Ability to successfully complete annual ICAO International Procedures training.
• Primary residency within a two-hour drive of Oakland International Airport (KOAK) or a willingness to relocate to the area.

Compensation Information

Solairus Aviation offers competitive compensation, with salaries for crewmembers typically ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 annually. Compensation is determined based on market conditions, geographic area, individual experience, aircraft type, specific job duties, and required training.
