Solairus Aviation seeks a skilled and dedicated Full-Time Gulfstream G650 Captain to join its operation based at KSJC airport. Essential Responsibilities/Duties

The Gulfstream G650 Captain is primarily responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft. Key duties include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring the safe operation of the Gulfstream G650 aircraft.
• Conducting flights safely and prudently in accordance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
• Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft prior to flight.
• Performing a thorough pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Completing a comprehensive review of weather and facilities along the route, including alternate airports.
• Ensuring flights adhere to the policies and procedures of Solairus Aviation and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Maintaining the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and crew members.
• Accurately completing all trip paperwork according to current procedures.

Qualifications

Prospective candidates should possess the following flight time requirements:

• Total Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC): 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
• MEL PIC: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications/Certifications

• Must hold a type rating on the Gulfstream G650 or a comparable aircraft type.
• Possession of a First Class Medical certificate is required.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis is essential.
• Must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence must be within a 2-hour drive from KSJC or the candidate must be willing to relocate.
