Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Gulfstream G650ER Captain to join its team. This position is based out of the KPIT airport in the Eastern Region of the USA. Essential Responsibilities:

The Captain is primarily responsible for the safe operation of the Gulfstream G650ER aircraft. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner in accordance with approved procedures and regulations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the safe operation of the Gulfstream G650ER aircraft.
  • Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft prior to flight.
  • Conducting a thorough pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Performing a complete check of weather conditions, facilities along the route, intended airports, and alternate airports.
  • Ensuring all flights are conducted in strict accordance with the policies and procedures of Solairus Aviation and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Ensuring the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
  • Accurately completing all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.

Required Qualifications:

Candidates must meet the following minimum flight hour requirements:

  • Total Time: 3000 hours
  • Pilot in Command (PIC): 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land Pilot in Command (MEL PIC): 500 hours
  • Time in Turbo Jet: 500 hours
  • Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Type rated on the Gulfstream G650ER or a comparable aircraft is required.
  • Possession of a valid First Class Medical Certificate is mandatory.
  • Ability to work on an on-call basis is essential.
  • Must be able to complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
  • Primary residence must be within a two-hour drive from a major commercial airport.

Salary Information:

Solairus collects salary range information from multiple industry sources based on market conditions. Solairus crewmembers are compensated based on geographic area, experience level, specific aircraft type/equipment, job duties, training, and the assigned account. The salary range for Solairus crewmembers is $50,000 to $500,000 annually.
