Position Summary: Gulfstream G650ER Captain

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Captain holds ultimate responsibility for the safe and prudent operation of the Gulfstream G650ER aircraft. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the safe operation and airworthiness of the Gulfstream G650ER aircraft.
- Conducting comprehensive pre-flight inspections strictly in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM) and reviewing the current maintenance status of the aircraft.
- Completing a thorough check of weather conditions, navigational facilities, the route of flight, and all intended airports, including necessary alternates.
- Guaranteeing that all flights are executed in absolute compliance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
- Maintaining the highest standards of safety for all passengers, crew, and the aircraft itself.
- Accurately completing all required trip paperwork and documentation in adherence to current operational procedures.
Required Professional Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following minimum flight hour requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC) Time: 500 hours
- Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
- Instrument Time: 250 hours
Specific Requirements and Certifications
Specific criteria essential for this Gulfstream G650ER Captain role include:
- Possession of a current Type Rating on the Gulfstream G650ER or a comparable large cabin jet aircraft.
- A valid First Class Medical Certificate is required.
- The ability and willingness to work on an on-call basis is mandatory.
- Successful completion of ICAO International Procedures training on an annual basis is required.
- Candidates must establish primary residence within a two-hour drive radius of the KVNY airport or demonstrate a willingness to relocate.
The estimated annual salary range for Solairus crewmembers is between $50,000 and $500,000, determined by geographic area, experience level, equipment type/aircraft, job duties, training requirements, and the assigned account.
