Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated, flexible, and professional Full-Time Flight Attendant for a commutable operation based in Southern California. The successful candidate will deliver superior, around-the-clock service to passengers. This role requires a passion for culinary excellence and the ability to ensure the highest standards of safety and passenger comfort.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service while ensuring passenger safety and comfort.
  • Manage cabin safety, including directing passengers during emergencies and administering CPR, AED, and first aid.
  • Secure the cabin in compliance with federal regulations prior to take-off and landing.
  • Conduct pre-flight briefings and manage all on-board supplies, including food, beverages, and emergency equipment.
  • Perform high-end cabin services, including fulfilling specific passenger requests and maintaining meticulous cleanliness of the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck.
  • Operate sophisticated cabin management, audio, and video systems.
  • Complete all required pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
  • Proven culinary skills and specific culinary training are required.
  • Current First Aid Training Certification and knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Annual recurrent flight attendant training is required; preference given to candidates with FlightSafety or FACTs certification completed within the last 12 months.
  • Technologically savvy with the ability to operate cabin management systems and digital devices.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and patience to manage changing schedules, including late-night flights and short-notice (2-3 hour) standby requirements.
  • Must be capable of deploying for up to 16 consecutive days and possess unrestricted ability to travel worldwide.
  • College degree preferred; fluency in one or more foreign languages and experience with small children are considered assets.

Physical Requirements

  • Vision: Correctable to 20/20; must be able to manage charts, reports, and digital devices.
  • Physical Strength: Must be able to push/pull main cabin doors weighing up to 130 lbs, lift supplies weighing 25–30 lbs repeatedly, and stand for up to 14 hours.
  • Mobility: Ability to climb, stoop, kneel in tight spaces (e.g., luggage compartments), and maneuver throughout the aircraft.
  • Communication: Clear speech and adequate hearing to communicate effectively with clients and flight crew in all flight conditions.

Compensation

Solairus crewmember compensation ranges from $50,000 to $500,000, determined by geographic area, experience, aircraft type, training, and specific account requirements.
