Position Overview
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Global 7500 aircraft based at Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Windsor Locks, CT. This role supports a 6-pilot account dedicated to Part 91 operations, involving approximately 500 flight hours annually, with over 70% of operations being international.
Location Requirement:
This is not a commutable position. Applicants must reside within a two-hour driving distance of BDL or be willing to fully relocate.
Key Responsibilities

Flight Operations & Safety:
Ensure all flights are operated in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner. Responsibilities include flight planning, performance calculations, weight and balance, and leading pre-flight briefings using Threat, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology.

Compliance & Security:
Adhere to all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), regulatory requirements, and serve as the Ground and In-Flight Security Coordinator.

Maintenance Oversight:
Monitor aircraft maintenance status, record discrepancies, and oversee ground servicing (fueling, oil, oxygen) to ensure mission readiness.

Customer Service:
Deliver an exceptional experience by performing professional passenger briefings and addressing the specific needs of all passengers.

Crew Resource Management:
Utilize CRM and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to maintain clear communication during all phases of flight.
Qualifications and Experience

Required:
FAA Type rating in a Global aircraft.

Required:
Extensive international flight experience.

Preferred:
Prior experience in corporate or business aviation.

Minimum Flight Time Requirements:

Total Time: 3,500 hours

Pilot in Command (PIC): 2,000 hours

Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours

PIC MEL: 500 hours

Jet: 500 hours

Instrument: 300 hours
Compensation
The base salary range for this Large/Heavy/Premium cabin position is $250,000 - $350,000.
