Position Overview

Solairus Aviation is actively recruiting a skilled and adaptable Full-Time Flight Attendant to support operations based at KLVK. This critical role demands a dedicated team player committed to delivering unparalleled passenger service around the clock. A strong culinary background, including a passion for food and advanced culinary training, is essential. The Flight Attendant will be instrumental in ensuring the utmost safety and comfort for all passengers during private aviation flights, providing exceptional personal services and adhering to rigorous standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a consistently high level of service to discerning clients, prioritizing passenger safety and comfort throughout each flight.
  • Provide clear and authoritative direction to passengers during emergency situations.
  • Administer basic first aid, including CPR and AED, to passengers requiring immediate medical assistance.
  • Execute pre-flight cabin securing procedures in strict accordance with federal regulations.
  • Offer reassurance and comfort to passengers during periods of turbulence or other unsettling flight conditions.
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-flight briefings for passengers.
  • Verify the adequate stocking of all necessary supplies, including food and beverages, blankets, reading materials, and emergency equipment, tailored to the flight duration and passenger count.
  • Procure specific items as requested by passengers for their flight experience.
  • Perform thorough inspections, cleaning, and restocking of the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight segment, ensuring the aircraft is consistently prepared, clean, and fully provisioned.
  • Conduct routine cabin checks to maintain optimal passenger comfort and cleanliness.
  • Accurately complete all required pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation.
  • Operate and manage cabin audio and video systems.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proficiency in Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
  • Valid First Aid Training Certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
  • Flight attendant-specific training from reputable institutions such as FlightSafety or FACTs is strongly preferred; annual recurrent training is mandatory.
  • Candidates lacking formal flight attendant training may be considered based on exceptional alternative qualifications, contingent upon successful completion of initial flight attendant training prior to flight assignment.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or equivalent training within the last 12 months.
  • Demonstrated technological proficiency.
  • Exceptional flexibility, adaptability, and patience.
  • Proven culinary skills and dedicated culinary training.
  • Ability to manage a dynamic schedule, including accommodating late-night flights.
  • Readiness to deploy for flights on short notice, with a response time of 2-3 hours when on standby.
  • Unrestricted ability to travel globally, considering health and visa status.
  • Capacity to be deployed for up to 16 consecutive days.
  • Proficiency in operating all features of Cabin Management Systems.
  • Expertise in operating all galley equipment.
  • Competence in operating all cabin features, including berthing seats and configuring the divan into a bed.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service acumen.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Fluency in one or more foreign languages is highly desirable.
  • Experience with young children is preferred.

Specific Physical and Sensory Requirements

  • Vision: Must possess vision correctable to 20/20 or better with glasses or contact lenses; uncorrected vision should be no worse than 20/20. Must be able to read reports, charts, manage post-flight paperwork, and utilize computer, smartphone, and/or iPad devices.
  • Hearing/Speaking: Must be able to articulate speech clearly and possess adequate hearing to communicate effectively via phone and in person with clients, colleagues, and pilots, even during flight operations.
  • Mobility: Must be physically capable of walking and standing unaided. Must be able to stand for extended periods (up to 14 hours) with limited opportunities for sitting. Ability to work long hours in diverse climates is required.
  • Dexterity: Must be able to kneel to load supplies and luggage in confined spaces, such as the luggage compartment. Must be able to maneuver efficiently within the aircraft's tight confines.
  • Strength: Must be able to push open and pull closed the main cabin door, which can weigh up to 130 pounds. Must be able to write, type, operate a computer and phone, and prepare, cook, and serve food and beverages. Must be capable of repeatedly lifting supplies weighing approximately 25-30 pounds from floor level to waist height.

Compensation and Benefits

Solairus Aviation offers a competitive compensation package, with salary ranges from $50,000 to $500,000, determined by geographic location, individual experience, aircraft type, specific job duties, training, and assigned account.
