Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated and professional Challenger 300 Captain to join our flight operations team based at KAPC. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in aviation performance, contributing to a culture rooted in safety, superior service, and integrity. Essential Responsibilities

The Captain is responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the Challenger 300 aircraft, including:

  • Ensuring the safety of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
  • Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft prior to operation.
  • Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Performing comprehensive checks of weather, route facilities, and destination/alternate airports.
  • Ensuring all flights strictly adhere to Solairus Aviation policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Completing all trip paperwork accurately and in compliance with company procedures.

Candidate Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following flight hour and certification requirements:

  • Total Time: 3,000 hours
  • Pilot in Command (PIC): 1,500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
  • MEL PIC: 500 hours
  • Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
  • Instrument Time: 250 hours
  • Certification: Type rated on Challenger 300 or comparable aircraft.
  • Medical: Possession of a current First Class medical certificate.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be available to work on an on-call basis.
  • Ability to complete ICAO International procedures training on an annual basis.
  • Must maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KAPC or be willing to relocate.

Compensation and Benefits

Solairus Aviation provides competitive compensation based on market conditions, geographic area, experience, equipment type, job duties, and training. The anticipated salary range is $50,000 to $500,000.
