Position Summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Global 6000 Captain to join an established operation based at Teterboro Airport (KTEB). The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional professionalism, serve as a standout colleague, and pursue excellence in every aspect of their performance. This role involves joining a hardworking team committed to safely and expertly meeting the travel needs of clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Global 6000 aircraft.
• Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner, strictly adhering to all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and the policies and procedures of Solairus Aviation.
• Perform comprehensive pre-flight duties, including reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status and conducting thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Conduct detailed checks of weather conditions, facilities along the route, intended airports, and alternate airports.
• Assume ultimate responsibility for the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew during flight operations.
• Accurately complete all required trip paperwork following current procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet or exceed the following flight hour requirements:

• Total Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC): 500 hours
• Time in Turbojet Aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Required Skills and Certifications

• Possession of a type rating on the Global 6000 or a comparable large cabin aircraft.
• Hold a current First Class Medical Certificate.
• Ability and willingness to work on an on-call basis, requiring flexibility in scheduling.
• Commitment to completing ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence must be within a two-hour driving distance from KTEB, or the candidate must be willing to relocate.
