Chief Pilot
Rampart Aviation is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Chief Pilot. This position reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for the management of the pilot group, including all training programs.
The candidate must possess comprehensive knowledge of General Operations Manuals, Operations Specifications, and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) pertaining to Part 135 operations. As per FAR 119.71, the candidate is required to hold an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and meet one of the following experience requirements:
- For individuals becoming a Chief Pilot for the first time, a minimum of three years of experience within the past six years as Pilot in Command (PIC) of an aircraft operated under Part 121 or Part 135.
- For individuals with prior experience as a Chief Pilot, a minimum of three years of experience as Pilot in Command (PIC) of an aircraft operated under Part 121 or Part 135.
Required Qualifications:
The candidate must hold the following Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Pilot Ratings:
- FAA ATP MEL (Multi-Engine Land)
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate
- CFII (Certified Flight Instructor Instrument) is desirable
Minimum Flight Experience:
- 4000 hours Total Time
- 1000 hours Multi-Engine
- Turboprop experience is preferred
- Prior military experience is preferred
Other Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid driver's license and obtain a US Passport within 30 days of hiring.
- Must be able to pass drug, alcohol, and thorough background check(s).
- Must be fluent (speak, read, write) in English.
- Must be able to provide identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
