This position requires a B-737 type rating. The ideal candidate possesses all qualifications outlined in FAA 14 CFR §119.65 and demonstrates extensive knowledge of FAA Part 121 regulations. A type rating in either a B727 or B737 aircraft is mandatory. Prior experience as a Chief Pilot, in a management role, or extensive Check Airman experience will be favorably considered.
This role involves supervision of flight crew members regarding their qualifications and compliance with FAA regulations and company policies. The incumbent will ensure that company standards are consistently upheld by all crew members. General supervision of flight crew members and their scheduled assignments is also required. This is an on-site position, and the candidate must be willing to relocate.
