Chief Pilot
Wing Aviation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Pilot to oversee flight crew operations. The Chief Pilot will manage flight personnel, training programs, and ensure full aviation regulatory compliance. He/She is responsible for cultivating a culture of safety, continuous learning, and professional development among crew members, ensuring that clients consistently receive a world-class aviation experience.
Education and Experience
- Pilot in Command experience of 3 years within the last 6 years in a Part 135 or 121 operation, or previous experience as a Chief Pilot is required.
- Must be qualified as Pilot in Command of at least one aircraft operated by Wing Aviation.
- Ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Certificates/Licenses
- Must possess a valid passport.
- Must hold an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP).
- Must have a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to understand high-level aspects of aircraft maintenance status and associated costs.
- Knowledge of Aircraft On Ground (AOG) items and basic maintenance terminology.
- Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business practices, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Proven ability to draft comprehensive reports, professional business correspondence, and detailed procedure manuals.
- Exceptional ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to apply appropriate mathematical methods and formulas to solve problems and calculate figures, including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
- Ability to execute instructions furnished in written, oral, or scheduled formats.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to define problems, collect relevant data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret a wide variety of instructions and effectively manage multiple abstract and concrete variables.
- Proficient in operating computers programmed with flight tracking software to record, store, and analyze pertinent information.
