Position Summary
A Flight Attendant significantly contributes to PSA Airlines' business growth by aiding in safe and efficient flight operations. By providing professional customer service in accordance with company objectives and standards, the Flight Attendant ensures customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of a Flight Attendant include:
- Assisting the Captain in the safe and efficient conduct of the flight from planning through termination.
- Complying with all applicable FARs, TSA, and DOT regulations, as well as company procedures and policies.
- Performing all duties assigned by either the company or the Captain promptly and correctly.
- Conducting a preflight inspection of all cabin emergency equipment applicable to the aircraft type, as outlined in the Inflight Manual.
- Promptly reporting any mechanical discrepancies to the Captain.
- Clearly and directly communicating any perceptions regarding passenger safety to the Captain.
- Maintaining a high degree of crew coordination and professionalism.
- Performing duties in a professional, efficient, and cordial manner at all times while on duty.
- Completing required records and reports.
- Being responsible for contributing to the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS), including associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
- Performing other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company.
Qualifications and Requirements
Qualified candidates will possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- College education or a minimum of two years of customer service experience.
- The ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English.
- A minimum age of 20 years.
- The ability to relocate or commute to an assigned domicile.
- A maximum height of 6 feet 0 inches and a minimum height of 5 feet 2 inches (with shoes).
- A valid US or Foreign Passport with applicable VISAs in possession.
- The ability to demonstrate authorization to work in the U.S. if hired.
- The ability to pass a fingerprint-based criminal history records check (CHRC) per 49CFR1542.209 and a pre-employment drug screen.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
This role primarily operates in an airplane environment. Occasional use of standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines, and filing cabinets may be required. The physical demands are representative of those necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. While the role is largely sedentary during flight, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb up and down stairs, lift weight up to 25 lbs, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
