Position Overview
The First Officer supports the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in the safe and efficient operation of Boeing 767 or 777 aircraft. This home-based role requires adherence to the FCOM and FCTM, assistance with pre-flight and post-flight procedures, and maintenance of all required navigational documentation. The incumbent must be prepared to assume PIC duties in the event of incapacitation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Learn from the Pilot-in-Command’s experience, training, and instruction.

Assist in the operation of the aircraft as delegated by the Pilot-in-Command.

Perform pre-flight walk-arounds and assist with necessary reports and maintenance discrepancy logs.

Validate that all required navigational charts and publications are current and present prior to cockpit pre-flight.

Assume Pilot-in-Command duties if the PIC becomes incapacitated.
Qualifications

Minimum of 2,000 hours Total Time.

Minimum of 500 hours Pilot-in-Command.

Minimum of 500 hours Multi-Engine Land.

Must have flown within the last 12 months.

Hold an FAA Unrestricted ATP with Multi-Engine and Instrument ratings.

Must possess an FAA First Class Medical Certificate and an FCC Radio License.

Ability to obtain a PIC rating for the assigned aircraft upon completion of training.

Must be at least 23 years of age.

High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Must hold a valid passport and possess the ability to travel internationally.

Ability to pass a 10-year background/criminal history check and pre-employment drug screen.

Must be able to secure required airport authority and security badges.

Fluency in the English language (read, write, speak, and understand).
Physical and Mental Requirements

Ability to travel 100% of the time and lift up to 60 lbs.

Ability to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Maintain a calm, professional demeanor and the ability to think quickly during emergency situations (e.g., medical emergencies, evacuations, fires, security threats).

Strong communication and decision-making skills with high attention to detail.

Capable of working in a culturally diverse environment and managing stress associated with time-sensitive deadlines.
