Purpose of Position

The Pilot is responsible for providing a superior air transportation experience, maintaining a safety record second to none. Serving as the face of NetJets, the Pilot provides technically accurate, safe transportation while delivering a concierge-level service experience to our Owners and passengers. The Pilot maintains full command of the aircraft and is expected to operate with the highest level of professional decorum.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Operate aircraft safely during taxi, takeoff, and landing in accordance with FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets manuals (FOM/AOM), and SOPs.
• Provide exceptional in-flight service, including the service of catering and handling of alcohol.
• Greet passengers, provide pre-flight briefings, verify itineraries, and communicate weather updates and safety procedures.
• Manage baggage loading and stowing requirements.
• Facilitate flights for passengers with pets and passengers who smoke.
• Serve as the final authority on the aircraft regarding all operations, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Act as a liaison between passengers and NetJets from the initial FBO arrival to final departure.
• Communicate maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and complete required documentation.

Required Education, Certifications, and Licenses

• High School Diploma.
• Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate (must be completed prior to Indoctrination Training).
• Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
• FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
• Valid United States Passport.
• Valid State Driver's License.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must meet FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) requirements per IAW 61.160, including:
  • Minimum age of 21.
  • 1,000 to 1,500 hours total flight time (based on qualification path).
  • 200 hours cross-country flight time.
  • 250 hours fixed-wing PIC.
  • 100 hours of night flying (or 75 hours with 45 night takeoffs/landings).
  • 75 hours of instrument time.
  • 50 hours fixed-wing multi-engine time.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction.
• Ability to pass TSA background screenings and secure airport/US Customs security badges.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
• Strong service-oriented mindset with a neat, professional appearance.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills under pressure.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
• Ability to work varied schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with potential for extended travel.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary Range: $86,015 - $117,706
