Second in Command (SIC) - Challenger 350

Location: Dallas, TX

Jet Linx is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Second in Command (SIC) for Super Midsize jet aircraft operations, including Part 91 and Part 135 flight services. The successful candidate must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a two-hour call-out radius of the aircraft.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Base Chief Pilot, the SIC is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company standard operating procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Total Time: 1,500 hours
  • Total PIC: 500 hours
  • Total Multi-Engine: 500 hours
  • Total Turbine: 100 hours
  • Total Instrument: 150 hours
  • ATP (Unrestricted)
  • 1st Class Medical Certificate
  • FCC Restricted Radio License
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Essential Functions

  • Manage duty, flight, and rest times in compliance with company standards and CFRs.
  • Maintain consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty, trip notifications, and required reporting.
  • Manage Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware, applications, navigation charts, and manuals to ensure they remain current.
  • Exhibit proactive decision-making and represent Jet Linx core values.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Additional Requirements

  • Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
  • Possess a valid U.S. driver's license and current passport.
  • Unrestricted ability to travel to EU, Canada, and Caribbean destinations.
  • Ability to pass a FAA Pilot Record Database review.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and participate in ongoing random drug/alcohol testing programs.
  • Physical ability to frequently move up to 50 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits

Jet Linx provides a competitive compensation package with a base annual salary ranging from $124,000 to $160,000, contingent upon geographic location, aircraft type, and candidate experience. Comprehensive benefits include:
