Job Overview: Corporate Pilot
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), a global leader in remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance systems, is seeking an experienced Corporate Pilot to support our Shuttle Flight Operations team in Poway, CA. This position is responsible for ground and flight operations, ensuring the safety of aircraft, passengers, and crew, and providing technical solutions to complex aviation challenges.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Execute comprehensive flight operations, including mission planning, briefings, debriefings, and Crew Resource Management (CRM).

Pilot company aircraft while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).

Conduct flight plan test reviews and support aircraft modification efforts.

Identify, assess, and resolve technical issues in coordination with maintenance personnel.

Maintain, track, and manage all pilot qualifications, currency requirements, and medical certifications.

Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information and operate in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements

Education/Experience:
Equivalent to a four-year technical degree and 5+ years of progressive ground and flight operations experience (professional aviation experience may be substituted for education).

Certifications:
FAA Commercial Pilot Multi-Engine Land (CMEL) Instrument rating and a current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate.

Flight Hours:
Minimum 2,000 hours total logged time, including 1,500 hours Pilot in Command, 500 hours Cross-Country, 100 hours Instrument, and 500 hours in turbine aircraft.

Preferred Qualifications:
Challenger 350 type rating.

Clearance:
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain DOD and customer-specific security clearances.

Skills:
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills; proficiency in computer operations.

Salary Range:
$81,080 – $141,650 per annum.
