Second in Command - Challenger 350

Location: Dallas, TX

Jet Linx is currently seeking a qualified Second in Command (SIC) for Super Midsize jet aircraft operations, supporting both Part 91 and Part 135 flight requirements. Candidates must reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out radius of the aircraft.

Position Summary

The Second in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. The SIC is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, ensuring full compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and established company procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Total Time: 1,500 hours
  • Total PIC: 500 hours
  • Total Multi-Engine: 500 hours
  • Total Turbine: 100 hours
  • Total Instrument: 150 hours
  • ATP (Unrestricted)
  • 1st Class Medical Certificate
  • FCC Restricted Radio License
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Essential Functions

  • Manage duty, flight, and rest times in accordance with company standards and CFRs.
  • Maintain consistent communication for standby duty, trip notifications, position calls, and reporting.
  • Manage Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware, applications, and ensure all navigation charts, publications, and manuals are current.
  • Exhibit proactive decision-making and uphold Jet Linx core values.
  • Maintain a current 1st Class medical certificate.

Additional Requirements

  • Preference given to candidates with initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license and maintain a current passport.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
  • Successful completion of an FAA Pilot Record Database review.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen (testing for marijuana, cocaine, opiates, PCP, and amphetamines) and participate in random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to frequently move up to 50 pounds in and around aircraft and terminal environments.

Compensation and Benefits

Jet Linx provides a competitive compensation package with a starting base annual salary ranging from $124,000 to $160,000, determined by geographic location, aircraft specifications, education, training, and experience. Benefits include:
