Second in Command (SIC) - Super Midsize Jet
Jet Linx is seeking a qualified Second in Command (SIC) to join our flight operations team for Part 91 and 135 operations. This role focuses on the safe and efficient operation of Super Midsize jet aircraft. The successful candidate must reside or be willing to relocate within a 2-hour call-out time of the assigned aircraft.
Position Summary
The Second in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. The SIC is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company procedures.
Minimum Flight Requirements

Total Time: 1,500 hours

Total Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 500 hours

Total Multi-Engine: 500 hours

Total Turbine: 100 hours

Total Instrument: 150 hours
Essential Functions

Manage duty, flight, and rest times in compliance with company standards and CFRs.

Maintain consistent communication with the company regarding standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and reporting.

Manage electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.

Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current.

Maintain a valid 1st Class medical certificate.

Exercise proactive decision-making skills in dynamic environments.

Qualifications and Requirements

ATP (Unrestricted) certification.
-
1st Class Medical.
-
FCC Restricted Radio License.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred: Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months.

Current passport and unrestricted ability to travel to EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.

Valid U.S. driver's license and proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Ability to pass a FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review.

Must pass pre-employment drug screening and participate in random drug/alcohol testing programs.

Physical ability to move up to 50 pounds frequently; work occurs primarily in and around aircraft and terminals.

Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation and Benefits
Jet Linx provides a competitive compensation package. The starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $124,000 to $160,000, determined by geographic location, aircraft specifications, education, training, and experience.
