Lynden Air Cargo, a US Part 121 all-cargo airline based in Anchorage, Alaska, seeks an experienced First Officer (FO) for its L382 Hercules (C-130 L382G) fleet. This pivotal role involves transporting critical cargo across Alaska, the U.S., and globally, often operating in remote and challenging environments.
About the Role
Joining a dynamic team, the First Officer will ensure safe and efficient flight operations for cargo, crew, and aircraft. Working closely with the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in a highly regulated environment, the FO will adhere to established policies, procedures, and governmental regulations. Key duties include:

Performing assigned work per Lynden Air Cargo's Employee Handbook, LAC GOM, and applicable CFRs.

Being responsible to the PIC during flight duty, assisting with safe and efficient flight conduct.

Complying with all safe operation rules and assisting PIC as directed, including forms and reports.

Ensuring the aircraft is properly equipped and not operated carelessly.

Potentially assisting in loading and unloading activities.

Global travel as needed to support the L382 Hercules fleet.

Maintaining constant alertness and working safely.
Requirements
Candidates must be professional, precise, and safety-committed. This role requires significant travel and adaptability:

Availability to work varied shifts (days, evenings, weekends, nights, holidays) and be away from home for extended periods.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally without restrictions, including foreign military bases.

Successful completion of a post-conditional offer drug test and background investigation.

Ability to hold a Secure Identification Display Access (SIDA) badge and submit to RapBack verification.

Subject to random drug testing.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess a comprehensive skill set and the necessary certifications.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

Minimum 5,000 hours pilot experience, or equivalent.

International or Alaska experience preferred.

Certificates, Licenses & Registration:

Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP), or ATP-CTP completion with required aeronautical experience.

Multi-engine Rating.

Class I Medical Certificate.

Successful Simulator Flight Evaluation.

Current Driver License and US Passport.
