A reputable aviation organization is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Captain for operations involving the Lockheed L-100 / C-130 Hercules heavy turboprop aircraft. This demanding role requires a professional Pilot-in-Command (PIC) capable of excelling in specialized low-altitude environments while simultaneously managing critical remote operational logistics and personnel. The position is based near Mesa, Arizona, and involves extensive domestic and international deployment.

Core Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be entrusted with fulfilling all Captain duties, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the C-130/L-100 aircraft, particularly in specialized low-altitude flight regimes. This position demands proven leadership and independence, as the Captain is expected to work remotely, managing a small flight crew and overseeing project logistics and personnel management away from corporate headquarters. The role requires the ability to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, for deployments that may last up to 45 days or more, typically occurring no more than twice per year.

Essential Qualifications and Minimum Requirements

Candidates must possess the following non-negotiable certifications and experience:

• A valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• Current and demonstrable operational experience in the C-130 / L382 aircraft series.
• An active FAA L382 Type Rating.
• A current Second Class FAA Medical Certificate.
• Full eligibility to work for any employer within the United States.
• Unrestricted availability for domestic and international travel deployment.

Preferred Experience and Assets

While not strictly required, applicants possessing the following qualifications will be highly competitive:

• A minimum total flight time of 5000 hours.
• At least 2500 flight hours accrued specifically in C-130 / L382 aircraft.
• Significant verifiable experience operating Heavy Turboprop aircraft.
• Proven experience in Aerial Application operations.
• Prior experience with Aerial Delivery or cargo deployment operations.
