The Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking an aviation professional who embodies the following core attributes:

Role Summary

The Second In Command (SIC) operates within the flight crew division of our charter flight operations, playing a pivotal role in delivering outstanding service to charter customers. This position demands in-depth knowledge of company procedures and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. The overarching objective of our flight operations department is to provide safe, secure, and convenient air transportation tailored to client demands. The Part 135 charter fleet comprises a variety of mid-cabin aircraft, including the CE-500 Citation. Comprehensive aircraft-specific training will be provided to qualified candidates with the requisite flight hours.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

The Second In Command will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Reporting Relationship

This position reports directly to the Chief Pilot.

Work Environment

This role operates within a professional aviation environment, which may include exposure to diverse weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft.

Position Type and Schedule

This is an exempt position requiring significant scheduling flexibility, including availability for varying duty schedules, evenings, weekends, and scheduled company holidays.

Travel Requirements

Travel is inherent to the duties of an aviation pilot; no additional non-flight-related travel is anticipated for this role.
