Position Overview
Jet Linx is seeking a qualified Second in Command (SIC) for Citation XLS+ midsize jet operations. This position supports Part 91 and 135 flight operations and reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. The SIC is responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Candidates must reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out time of the base.
Minimum Qualifications

Total Flight Time: 1,500 hours

Total Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 500 hours

Total Multi-Engine Time: 500 hours

Total Turbine Time: 100 hours

Total Instrument Time: 150 hours

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Essential Functions

Manage duty, flight, and rest periods in accordance with company and CFR requirements.

Maintain consistent communication for standby assignments, trip notifications, and flight reporting.

Manage Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and applications.

Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current.

Maintain a current 1st Class medical certificate.

Demonstrate proactive decision-making skills and uphold Jet Linx core values.
Additional Requirements

Hold or demonstrate the ability to obtain an ATP certificate.

Hold a valid U.S. driver’s license and current passport.

Possess an FCC Restricted Radio License.

Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.

Successful completion of an FAA Pilot Record Database review.

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and participate in random drug/alcohol testing.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical ability to frequently move up to 50 pounds; work primarily conducted in and around aircraft and terminals.

Preferred:
Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months.
Compensation and Benefits
The starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $150,000, determined by geographic location, aircraft specifications, and the candidate's relevant education, training, and experience. Jet Linx provides a comprehensive benefits package, including:
