Jet Linx is seeking a qualified Second in Command (SIC) to join their team for full-time operations based in Chicago, Illinois. This role will involve flying Super Midsize jet aircraft under Part 91 and 135 regulations. Candidates are expected to reside within a two-hour call-out radius of their assigned home base or be willing to relocate.
About the Role
The Second in Command reports to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, adhering to Federal Aviation Regulations and established company procedures. Key responsibilities include managing duty, flight, and rest times; maintaining effective communication with the company regarding assignments and flight reports; managing electronic flight bag hardware and applications; and ensuring all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current.
Requirements

Minimum 1500 hours total flight time.

Minimum 500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).

Minimum 500 hours multi-engine time.

Minimum 100 hours turbine time.

Minimum 150 hours instrument time.

Possession of a current 1st Class Medical Certificate.

Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Current passport.

FCC Restricted Radio License.

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug and alcohol testing.

Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.

Ability to release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review.

Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Ability to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
Qualifications

ATP (Unrestricted) is required.

Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
