Jet Linx is seeking a qualified Second in Command (SIC) for full-time flight operations aboard a Super Midsize jet aircraft, specifically the Gulfstream G200, in Chicago, Illinois. The role requires adherence to Part 91 and 135 regulations, with the expectation that candidates reside or will relocate within a two-hour call-out radius of their assigned base.
The Second in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. This position is responsible for preparing and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and established company procedures. Key functions include managing duty, flight, and rest times, maintaining effective communication with the company regarding assignments and reporting, managing electronic flight bag systems, and ensuring all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are up-to-date. The SIC will also be responsible for demonstrating strong, proactive decision-making skills and upholding Jet Linx's core values in all professional interactions.
