About the Role
The First Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the Captain and the flight department by executing assigned flight duties and contributing to the successful completion of all missions. This position involves maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance, enhancing operational decision-making through careful evaluation of various flight factors, and ensuring flight readiness and performance. Additionally, the First Officer is responsible for delivering an exceptional passenger experience and contributing to departmental initiatives for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Support safe and efficient flight operations by executing assigned flight duties and partnering closely with the Captain.

Maintain regulatory compliance by adhering to all aviation regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.

Enhance operational decision-making by evaluating weather, route factors, and airport conditions.

Ensure flight readiness through accurate review of flight plans, weight and balance calculations, fuel requirements, and performance data.

Deliver an exceptional passenger experience by ensuring aircraft preparedness, safety, and comfort.

Contribute beyond the flight deck by supporting departmental initiatives and driving continuous improvement.

Perform required aircraft preflight inspections and post-flight duties, including reporting itinerary changes and documenting discrepancies.

Conduct passenger safety briefings in accordance with company procedures and regulations.

Ensure compliance with international operating requirements when conducting international flight operations.

Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development for future qualification as an Aircraft Captain.

Intermediate level of relative work experience in a corporate aviation setting is preferred.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree

Valid U.S. Passport

Valid first-class medical certificate

Valid Driver’s License

Valid FAA Commercial Pilot License with an instrument rating or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate

1,000 hours total flight time

500 hours Pilot in Command turbine time

Successful completion of a FAA instrument proficiency check within the previous 12 months
