Cummins Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated First Officer (FO) to join its corporate aviation team in Columbus, Indiana. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring safe and efficient flight operations, primarily operating Gulfstream G280 and Embraer 145XR aircraft, though specific aircraft assignment will be based on operational needs.
About the Role

Operate assigned aircraft (Gulfstream G280, Embraer 145XR) in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements, ensuring safe and efficient flight operations.

Execute assigned flight duties, including takeoffs and landings under Pilot in Command (PIC) authority, and assume control in the event of PIC incapacitation.

Conduct comprehensive pre-flight and post-flight inspections, verifying aircraft airworthiness and ensuring all required documents, certificates, and operational records are current.

Evaluate weather conditions, route factors, and airport conditions for flight planning, reviewing flight plans, weight and balance, fuel requirements, and performance data.

Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, local, foreign regulations, FAA requirements, company policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Provide an exceptional passenger experience by ensuring the aircraft is prepared, safe, comfortable, and stocked, and delivering professional customer service.

Conduct required passenger safety briefings and ensure compliance with international operating requirements.

Support departmental initiatives, participate in safety or hiring committees, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the flight operation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree.

Valid U.S. Passport.

Valid First Class Medical Certificate.

Valid Driver's License.

Valid FAA Commercial Pilot License with an instrument rating or an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.

Minimum 1,000 hours total flight time.

Minimum 500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) turbine time.

Successful completion of an FAA instrument proficiency check within the previous 12 months.
