Executive Jet Management (EJM) Pilot in Command - Challenger 300

EJM is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Challenger 300, based in Santa Ana, California. This position operates within a two-pilot, Part 91 environment. A dedicated Maintenance Technician supports this account. The aircraft flies solely within the USA, accumulating less than 225 hours annually. This is not a home-based position, and candidates must reside or be willing to relocate to the Santa Ana area.

The PIC is ultimately responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. The PIC adheres to all company and regulatory requirements while providing an exceptional service experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the Safe Operation of Flight:
    • Confirms crew and trip assignments are compliant with company and regulatory mandates.
    • Performs flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance for each assignment.
    • Employs the Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead briefings and mitigate operational risks.
    • Adheres to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates with company personnel as required. Acts as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
    • Completes thorough aircraft pre-flight inspections, verifying maintenance status to ensure mission capability. Records all discrepancies according to SOPs.
    • Ensures proper monitoring and execution of aircraft ground servicing items (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) per SOPs.
    • Conducts passenger briefings according to company policy and regulation, delivering outstanding customer service and addressing special passenger needs.
    • Utilizes Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) for clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
  • Delivers an Exceptional Service Experience:
    • Provides superior service to owners and passengers, proactively identifying and addressing opportunities to enhance the EJM experience. Investigates and resolves service deviations.
    • Collaborates effectively with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to maintain a consistent service experience for owners and passengers, resolving conflicts professionally.
  • Maintains Proficiency and Compliance:
    • Meets all regulatory and company-required training standards and maintains recency of experience.
    • Adheres to the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reports any safety or non-compliance issues through established channels.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs):

  • Demonstrated experience in corporate/business aviation.
  • Residency in or willingness to relocate to the Santa Ana, California area.
  • FAA Type rating in the CL300 series (strongly preferred).
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.

Minimum Time Requirements:

  • Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
  • Pilot in Command (PIC): 2000 hours
  • PIC MEL: 500 hours
  • Instrument: 300 hours
  • Jet: 500 hours

Base Salary Range:

$150,000 - $200,000
